TESTIMONIALS
I first met Bijay Lama in October 2014, when he was an assistant guide on a trek that a friend and I did in the Langtang region of Nepal. At the time Bijay was employed as a guide by Exodus Travels. During the trek my friend and I found Bijay to be a friendly and helpful guide, who spoke good English. At the end of the trek we agreed to remain in contact with Bijay and have since become good friends, keeping in regular contact by email and Skype. In the spring of 2017 I decided to return to Nepal with my wife and the friend who accompanied me in 2014. This was to be my third visit to Nepal and my wifes first. We decided we would like to visit the Khopra Danda region and the Annapurna Sanctuary.
Once again, Bijay, his uncle Prithi and cousin Prakash escorted us, this time around the Khopra Ridge and Mardi Himal trekking routes. I was with two other experienced trekkers. We have known Bijay and his family for many years and over many treks. He has always been knowledgeable, experienced and very helpful. He was also readily adaptable when we found we had to modify the trek to accommodate my needs. I am happy to recommend Bijay as a guide and his family and friends as porters. A great team.

I first met Bijay, on a trek, in 2014 when he was a junior being mentored by Sukman, the best trekking guide I have ever met. Bijay was assigned to look after me, a rather slow-walking, senior lady. He did his job well – patient, protective, supportive, without complaint and frequently ready with a welcome cup of tea, whatever the time of day!
Both mentor and student found themselves at Everest BC during the earthquakes of 2015 but both found shelter and got their groups safely home. I would trust both of them with my life.
It has been a pleasure to return to Nepal to meet and trek with Bijay again and see the strong, capable and confident Guide he has become.

My first trip with Bijay and his family, a memorable trip and have been on treks with Bijay on 4 occasions since then. I’m very happy to recommend him to anyone considering a trek in Nepal”
Bijay has guided my friends and me around the Annapurna circuit twice and up the Langtang valley. I have also spent a couple of days staying with his family down on the Terai (Almost above the epicenter of the earthquake)
I have found Bijay to be an excellent guide and (initially) my porter. He has a broad knowledge of the routes and especially of the lesser known routes such as the one he’ll be taking my friend and me on in March. He is also up to date with the wildlife of the country. I have no hesitation in recommending Bijay for any adventure in the Himalayas.
